About us
Company H. Henriksen Mek. Verksted A/S was founded 14.10. 1856 by the young blacksmith Henrik Henriksen. His focus in the early days was on equipment for the marine industry, and this is still the main focus for the company. The family owned company is today run by the 5 th generation.

H. Henriksen Mek. Verksted A/S is located close to the quay in Tønsberg.

Our main philosophy is the unique combination of engineering and production to develop and produce products based upon the customers requirements. This philosophy has resulted in a number of unique products.

Combined with our products our biggest assets are the highly qualified and experienced employees. We use modern 3D tools in our design and construction. Our engineers are practically focused and they are working in close co-operation with our production line.

Among our current products we have Henriksen Hooks (lifting hooks), aluminiuim boats, workboats, man overboard boats, oil recovery equipment, safety equipment and design and production of special machines. We are working with professional customers all around the world.

Our quality system conform to the Standard: NS-EN ISO 9001: 2000 approved by DNV.
